evaluate my airfare in development
runs the current pricing model pointed at any route you type in
caveats, read before trusting a single number here:
- the model is mostly trained on last-minute-ish fares right now — far-out departures (60+ days) are thinner data and less reliable
- flight duration is usually a guess (distance + stop count), not a real schedule — that guess feeds the model directly
- obscure routes / small airlines / small airports fall back to an implicit baseline, since there's not enough data to give them their own adjustment
- outbound and return are priced independently (fares are often asymmetric) — the "round-trip total" is just those two numbers added together, not a real round-trip fare, which airlines might price below 2x one-way
- everything here is in USD — no currency conversion yet
- there are no guardrails at this point, you can have a non stop from Helsinki to Ushuaia, a four stop from Los Angeles to San Fransico, and even a return ticket leaving before the outbound if you really really want. Have at it, but remember, gabage in, garbage out!
- this whole page is a debugging/curiosity tool and mostly for fun, not a price guarantee
